Web Site Development
Developing a successful Website requires
thinking about a few issues. First, determine the purpose of your
site. Will it be a public relations tool, an information site
or a web store? Next, determine your target audience.
Think about what types of items will change and
stay the same on your site. What kind of graphics and photos can
add interest to your site?
When your small business is ready for the Internet,
let eiServer help you develop a successful website. This could include
multiple pages and pictures, e-commerce and more. And since eiServer
works with small business, we will work within your budget.
Web Site Maintenance
After you put your website on the internet, you want to make sure
that people come back. A few changes here and there, or a an weekly
email will keep them interested. If you have an e-commerce site,
you may want to do price changes or monthly specials. Let us give
you some ideas - the price is small for the return that you will
get.
Web Site Promotion
How will anyone see your site if you do not promote? We will get
you on the search engines and give advice on incorporating your
website into your current advertising.
Domain Registration
A Registrar is an organization or company that is
accredited by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and
Numbers) to provide registration services. We provide registration
services in partnership with Internet Names WorldWide, a division
of Melbourne IT Ltd. Transferring the registrar of a domain name
requires a $10 transfer charge plus $20 per year for each year of
registration. You will not lose money paid to another registrar
if you transfer your domain before its expiration date. Any remaining
period of time on a domain name registration is transferred to the
new registrar. For instance, if you have 8 months before your domain
name registration with the current registrar expires, and then you
transfer the domain to Internet Names WorldWide (INWW) and renew
the domain registration for one year, you would then have 1 year
and 8 months until your next renewal. Registrars do not issue credits,
but the time period that domains are registered for does transfer
with the domain name from one registrar to another.
